Our Origin Story
"Cobu was the culmination of two eureka moments: one professional and one personal. On the professional side, I observed how much pain apartment building owners faced competing in crowded markets, where retaining residents often required expensive renovations that didn't always deliver real returns. On the personal side, I saw how isolating it was for my own mother after moving to the city. Her apartment had shared spaces, yet the experience felt impersonal and disconnected.
Cobu was born from the mission to help her — and others — feel more connected where they live, while creating real value for apartment communities. "
